Pleasanton Scrapbook Expo Day 1 ...

... We had a lot of fun today. Bay Area Scrapbook Expo goers seemed to be in good spirits and the Kits2Remember booth was busy more often than not. A huge thanks goes out to my Krew: Kathi, Jenn, Kathryn, Gina, Erline and, my faithful cashier and Mom, Nancy. I couldn't have done it without you guys! You rock!

Here are some photos from today:

The Krew in our YuDu'ed shirts

The new line of Kits2Remember stamps.

Kathi got some shots of me teaching the Imaginative Magnetic Metal class.

My Mom at her post.

Kathi bagging up the merchandise.

And, last, but not least, Jenn mesmerizing the crowd with her knowledge of acrylic, rubber stamps and the Bind-it-All.

Looking forward to the replay tomorrow!

Jessica - was your Mom like 5 years old when she had you?? I had to read through this post 3 times to be sure I was looking at a person you called Mom. Lucky, lucky you to have her involved in your career. If you haven't already today, give your Mom a big HUG today!! Also, love the checkerboard set..VERY clever.

Thanks for sharing your Expo shots. The booth looks great with the new stamps, and the Krew look wonderful with the new shirts! Happy Scrapping.

Jessica - Really enjoyed your class on working with metal!! I also heard great reviews from those that took your acrylic class. Hope to see you again at the Expo in Santa Clara, we need more vendor's like you! Thanks again.

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our world, and I can say with 99% certainty that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory drops, the possibility of transferring our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.
