Our sugar glider, Molly passed over the Rainbow Bridge last night. She suffered from an intestinal blockage and there wasn't much that could be done once it was figured out. She was a part of our family for four months, finally bonding with us about a week ago ("bonding" can take months to years to happen - it is based on trust and the sugar glider's personality). She was five years old, only living about half her life expectancy. Unfortunately, there was evidence that she was malnourished as a baby, so this could have contributed to her condition.
We will miss our cute, "lazy" (she was nocturnal), watermelon-loving "hood rat." Rest in peace, little lady.
